This section will guide you through editing your account details and managing your profile on Trip Wizard. This ensures that your profile is up-to-date and you can make the most of the app's features.
To access your account settings:
- Click the Profile icon on the top right side of the screen.
- From the dropdown, click on “Your Account”.
- A tab displaying your account information will open on the right side of the screen. Click on "Account Settings" to open Profile & Account Settings.
Profile & Account Settings
At the top of the Profile & Account Settings screen, you can find these key elements:
- Username: Displays your account username.
- Your RV Link: Link to Your Garage.
- Change Display Picture: Button to update your display picture.
- View Your Public Profile: Button to view the information visible to other users across the RV LIFE Community, including your username, display picture, and RV Garage.
This is followed by four sections:
- Complete Your Profile
- Profile, Garage & Preferences
- Account & Security
- Customer Support
Complete Your Profile
This section helps you track the completeness of your profile information. The Progress Bar indicates how much information you have provided to complete your profile.
Profile, Garage, & Preferences
This section allows you to edit your personal information, manage your RV details, change measurement units, set your camping preferences and manage your display pin preferences.
Edit Your Profile
This screen contains four tabs where you can edit your information.
- Personal Info: Update your name and date of birth. Your birthdate is used to comply with US COPPA laws (at least 13 years of age) and is not shared publicly.
- Experience: Update information about how often you RV, how much experience you have, and if you’re interested in work camping opportunities.
- Location: Set or change your home address.
- Social Links: Add or update links to your social media profiles.
Click on the “Save & Continue” button at the bottom of the screen to make changes to your profile information.
Your RV Garage
This screen lets you manage the details of your RVs, including adding new RVs and setting a primary RV.
Editing RV Details
To make changes to your RV details, tap on the “Edit RV Details” button on the screen.
On the subsequent screen, you can edit your RV photo or delete the selected RV. Click on RV Details to open the RV Details screen.
On the RV Details screen, you will find three tabs:
- Basics: Add or edit your RV's nickname.
- Measurements: Enter your RV's height, length, and width.
- Fuel Info: Input data for tracking fuel usage, monitoring expenses, and receiving accurate fuel warnings.
Click on “Save & Finish” to confirm your changes.
Adding an RV
To add an RV to your account, tap on the red “Add RV” button on the My RV Garage screen. This will open the Let’s Get Your RV Info screen.
On the Let’s Get Your RV Info screen:
- Type in the name of your RV to search. Once you find your RV name, tap on it.
- Once we find the details about your RV (which takes a few seconds), tap “Next”.
- Verify the information we’ve filled out based on your RV. If everything checks out, tap “Save & Continue”.
- In the next screen, you can choose to upload an RV photo or Skip it. Your new RV will then be added to your profile.
Alternatively, you can select your RV from the list provided. Once you find your RV, the steps are similar to the steps shown above.
Units of Measurement
Units of Measurement allows you to customize how information is displayed, ensuring it aligns with your preferences and regional standards. You have the following options to choose from:
- Length: Feet or meters
- Fuel: US gallon, Imperial gallon, or liter
- Map Distance: Miles or kilometers
- Speed: mph or kph
- Currency: USD, CAD, or MXN
- Weather: Fahrenheit or Celsius
Camping Preferences
Personalize your camping experiences by setting your preferred campsite types, surfaces, hookups, and pet-friendly preferences.
- Preferred Campsite Types: Choose the types of campsites you prefer, such as back-in or pull-through sites.
- Preferred Campsite Surfaces: Select your preferred campsite surfaces, such as gravel, concrete, or grass, to ensure a comfortable stay.
- Hookups: Specify the types of hookups you need, including water, electricity, and sewer, to match your RV's requirements.
- Pet Friendly: Indicate whether you prefer campsites that accommodate pets, ensuring a suitable environment for your furry companions.
Tap “Save Changes” to confirm the changes.
Display Pin Preferences
Display Pin Preferences allows you to customize which campground types appear on your map. This feature helps you focus on the campgrounds that best meet your needs by letting you select and prioritize different types.

Account & Security
This section allows you to manage your account settings and security options.
- Manage Connected Accounts: Link and manage accounts integrated with RV LIFE, like Harvest Hosts.
- Edit Email: Update your email address.
- Edit Phone: Change your phone number.
- Edit Password: Modify your account password.
- Edit Notifications: Customize your notification settings. Toggle the button next to the notifications to turn it on or off.
- RV LIFE Pro Subscription: Check and update your subscription details, payment methods and more.
Customer Support
This section provides access to various support resources and legal information.

- FAQ: Browse frequently asked questions.
- Contact Us: Get in touch with customer support.
- Terms of Service: View the terms of service.
- Privacy Policy: Read the privacy policy.
At the end of the Profile feature, you will find the link to request account deletion.
