Managing Your Profile

This section will guide you through editing your account details and utilizing various tools available in the RV LIFE Mobile App. This ensures that your profile is up-to-date and you can make the most of the app's features.

Editing Your Profile

To edit your account details, tap on “More” on the bottom navigation bar. On the More RV LIFE Tools screen, tap on "Profile" and the Profile & Account Settings screen will be displayed.

At the top of the Profile & Account Settings screen, you can find these key elements:

Username: Displays your account username.
Your RV Link: Link to your Your Garage.
Change Display Picture: Button to update your display picture.
View Your Public Profile: Button to view the information visible to other users across the RV LIFE Community, including your username, display picture, and RV Garage.

Complete Your Profile

This section helps you track the completeness of your profile information. The Progress Bar indicates how much information you have provided to complete your profile.

Profile, Garage, & Preferences

This section allows you to edit your personal information, manage your RV details, and set your camping preferences.

Edit Your Profile

This screen contains four tabs where you can edit your information.

Personal Info: Update your name and date of birth. Your birthdate is used to comply with US COPPA laws (at least 13 years of age) and is not shared publicly.
Experience: Update information about how often you RV, how much experience you have, and if you’re interested in work camping opportunities.
Location: Set or change your home address.
Social Links: Add or update links to your social media profiles.

Click on the “Save & Continue” button at the bottom of the screen to make changes to your profile information.

Your RV Garage

This screen lets you manage the details of your RVs, including adding new RVs and setting a primary RV.

Editing RV Details

To make changes to your RV details, tap on the “Edit RV Details” button on the screen.

On the My RV Screen:

Change RV Photo: Tap on the “Edit RV Photo” button to change your RV photo.
RV Specifications: Tap on “RV Specs and Measurements” to open the About Your RV screen. Here, you can make changes to your RV’s specifications for a more personalized experience. Tap on “Save” to confirm changes.

Deleting an RV: Tap on “Delete This RV” to delete the current RV.

Adding an RV

To add an RV to your account, tap on the red “Add RV” button.

On the Let’s Get Your RV Info screen:

Type in the name of your RV to search. Once you find your RV name, tap on it.
Once we find the details about your RV (which takes a few seconds), tap “Next”.
Verify the information we’ve filled out based on your RV. If everything checks out, tap “Save & Continue”.
In the next screen, you can choose to upload an RV photo or Skip it. Your new RV will then be added to your profile.

Alternatively, you can select your RV from the list provided. Once you find your RV, the steps are similar to the steps shown above.

Camping Preferences

Personalize your camping experiences by setting your preferred campsite types, surfaces, hookups, and pet-friendly preferences.

Preferred Campsite Types: Choose the types of campsites you prefer, such as back-in or pull-through sites.
Preferred Campsite Surfaces: Select your preferred campsite surfaces, such as gravel, concrete, or grass, to ensure a comfortable stay.
Hookups: Specify the types of hookups you need, including water, electricity, and sewer, to match your RV's requirements.
Pet Friendly: Indicate whether you prefer campsites that accommodate pets, ensuring a suitable environment for your furry companions.

Tap “Save Changes” to confirm the changes.

Account & Security

This section allows you to manage your account settings and security options.

Edit Email: Update your email address.
Edit Phone: Change your phone number.
Edit Password: Modify your account password.
Edit Notifications: Customize your notification settings. Toggle the button next to the notifications to turn it on or off.
Log Out: Option to log out of your account.

Customer Support

This section provides access to various support resources and legal information.

User Guide: Access the user guide for detailed instructions.
FAQ: Browse frequently asked questions.
Contact Us: Get in touch with customer support.
Terms of Service: View the terms of service.
Privacy Policy: Read the privacy policy.

At the end of the Profile feature, you will find the link to request account deletion.

Your RV LIFE Tools

The Tools section can be found below My Profile in the More RV LIFE Tools screen.

Your Lists

The Your Lists feature allows you to manage and organize your Favorites lists. Tap on “Your Lists” under Tools in the More RV LIFE Tools screen to open it. This will display the default Favorites list and any other lists you have created.

You can drag the arrows icon next to the list names to organize them.

List Overview

Tap on the list name to open it. You will see a similar screen to this:

Create a Trip From List: This option will create a tentative trip for you and open Trip Wizard in your browser.
Delete List: Use this button to delete the list.
Make List Private: Toggle this option to make the list private. A private list will not be accessible to anyone but you.

You can drag the icon next to the campgrounds to organize them.

Tapping the arrow next to the campground name will open up the campground details.
“Add Notes” button lets you add any (private) information about the campground. This might include reservation numbers, stay details, your site number, etc.
Tapping the three dots button will bring up the “Delete” button, which is used to delete that particular campground from your list.

Creating a New List

To create a new list:

Select “Create New List” on the top right of the Favorites List.
A drop-down will appear where you can add the new list name
Press “Save List” to add the new list.

Campground History

Campground History holds the latest parks that you have checked in at.

When at RV parks or campgrounds, you can verify your visit with the app. Just navigate to the Home screen and tap Confirm Arrival.

Your RV LIFE Pro Subscription

Tapping on Your RV LIFE Pro Subscription opens the Billing Overview page in your browser. This page shows your current plan and your subscription begin date and end date.

You will also have the option to turn Recurring Billing on or off on this page.

Note: You will see a different screen if you have purchased your RV LIFE Pro subscription through the Google Play Store or the App Store. These subscriptions must be managed directly within your mobile app store account.

RV News & Articles

The RV News & Articles section keeps you informed of the latest updates, news, and insights relevant to the RVing community. This feature provides a wealth of information to enhance your RVing experience and keep you up-to-date with industry trends.

Tapping on any of the articles will open the article in your web browser.

Offline Maps and Notifications

The App Settings sections include Offline Maps and App Notification Settings which allow you to download maps for offline use, and ensure you can navigate even when there is limited cell service.

Additionally, you can manage your notification settings to stay updated with important information.

Downloading Offline Maps

To download offline maps:

Tap on Offline Maps under App Settings to open the list of countries whose maps you can download (United States, Canada, Mexico).
Tap on the country for which you want to download maps.
You will see a full list of states or provinces that are available for download.

To download a map, click on the icon next to the state name. The download size will be displayed next to the icon.

You can view the downloaded state maps under the Downloaded section.

Note: Do not close the app or turn off internet connection while downloading the maps, as it may cause incomplete download errors. You will also need to be logged in to use offline maps.

You will be required to update your offline maps from time to time. To update your maps-

From the Home Screen:

On the home screen, scroll down to find the Explore Our Features section.
Select “Offline Access”.
Select the country whose map you want to download. You have three options- United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Select Recommended, All States, or Downloaded
Click on the download button next to the state whose map you want to download.
After the state map is downloaded, this icon will appear -

From App Settings:

On the home screen, select “More” on the bottom right side of the screen.
Under App Settings, select “Offline Maps”.
Select the country whose map you want to download. You have three options- United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Click on the download button next to the state whose map you want to download.
After the state map is downloaded, this icon will appear -

App Notifications Settings

The RV LIFE Mobile App can send you notifications for news and reminders.

News- If you toggle News notifications on, you will receive notifications regarding RV insider tips and relevant articles.
Reminders- If you toggle Reminders on, you will receive notifications to upload reviews and photos of your experiences.

Note: We recommend that you turn on app notifications to receive important trip information and helpful reminders.
