The RV LIFE Mobile App brings together a suite of features that cater to every aspect of the RV lifestyle like trip planning, navigation, campground research and much more.
The RV LIFE Mobile App is available on both iOS and Android devices, ensuring wide accessibility for all RVers.
Free or Pro?
The RV LIFE App is free to download and use. To unlock its full potential, users will need to create an account and log in. This gives access to our extensive database of parks, along with the ability to submit and read reviews and photos on RV LIFE Campgrounds- all for free.
For RV LIFE Pro subscribers, logging in provides the full suite of Pro tools. Pro subscribers get access to the following tools:
- RV LIFE Mobile App: Ad-free access to the mobile app with all features unlocked.
- RV Safe GPS Navigation: Offers turn-by-turn directions tailored to avoid roads unsuitable for your RV's dimensions, ensuring safe travel.
- RV LIFE Trip Wizard: An interactive trip planning tool that provides customized routes, cost estimation, route preferences, etc. Trips planned with Trip Wizard syncs automatically with the mobile app, allowing for real-time turn-by-turn navigation through the GPS.
- Campground Reviews: Ad-free access to thousands of user-generated reviews to find the perfect campground for your next stay.
Downloading the Mobile App
The RV LIFE app is available for download directly from the App Store, Google Play Store, or through the RV LIFE website.
Through the Website:
- Open the browser on your mobile device and go to rvlife.com/app.
- Depending on your device, click on “Download on the App Store” or “GET IT ON Google Play” to be redirected to the respective store where you can download the app.
Through the App Store/Google Play Store:
- Tap the App Store/Google Play Store icon on your home screen to open it.
- Tap the search bar, then type "RV LIFE" into the search bar and press "Search."
- Look for the RV LIFE app in the search results. It should be clearly marked with the RV LIFE logo. Then, proceed to download the app.
Creating an Account
Once the RV LIFE Mobile App has been downloaded on your mobile device, locate the app and open it. You will have two options to choose from once you open the app- Begin or Skip This Step. To create an account on the mobile app:
- Tap "Begin".
- You will then see the Sign In screen. Tap on "Sign Up".
- On the Sign Up screen, enter your Email Address, your Password, and Date of Birth.
- Check the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and tap "Join Now".
- Next, confirm your email ID to activate your account. Check your email for the verification code and enter the code in your app.
After you have verified your account, you will be logged in.
Logging In
The first time you log in after creating your account, you will be welcomed by the Setup Your RV screen. Here, you choose the type of vehicle you own so that you can have a customized RV LIFE experience.
Vehicle measurements are required in the RV LIFE app to tailor safe and suitable routes, avoiding low bridges, narrow roads, and other restrictions based on your RV's dimensions. The measurements can be edited later.
Here’s how you add in your RV information:
- Select the type of vehicle you own from the given list.
- Select the year of manufacture. In case you don’t find the manufacture date, scroll down on the list and select “Other”. You can then add your vehicle’s measurements and whether your RV has propane on board.
- Tap “Continue” and you will then be sent to the Home screen.
If you already have an existing RV LIFE account, logging in is straightforward.
- Tap “Begin” on the opening screen.
- You will then see the “Sign In” screen.
- Enter your Email Address and Password and tap “Log In” to get logged in.
You can also use the mobile app without logging in. Tap on “Skip this Step” on the opening screen and you will be directed to the app’s home screen. However, doing so will limit the features available on the app.

Fuel Stations Nearby
This section is a practical tool for finding fuel stations close to your current location. It's especially useful when you're on the road and need to plan your next stop for refueling.
The app automatically detects your location and displays the fuel stations near your location.
You can tap on any of the fuel stations provided on the preview, or choose to View all Fuel Stations on Map. Simply tap on the fuel station name and tap “Navigate” to navigate.
Articles
This section is perfect for finding tips, tricks, and inspiring stories to enhance your RV lifestyle.
Scroll through the latest articles directly from your home page. When you find one that interests you, tap on it to read the full article in your browser. Remember to check back regularly for new content.
Your Lists
This personalized section displays your Favorites lists.
This section makes it easy to revisit your preferred spots or plan future trips. You can manage, edit, or add to your lists anytime, ensuring your favorites are always at your fingertips.
Navigation Bar
Located at the bottom of the screen, the navigation bar is your gateway to the app's core functionalities: Map, Trips, and GPS.
- Map opens an interactive map displaying campgrounds, points of interest, and more.
- Trips lets you access your planned trips, complete with itineraries and details.
- GPS launches the GPS navigation feature, guiding you with RV-safe routes, customized to meet your needs.
- More reveals additional options and settings to customize your app experience.
