Offline Maps (downloaded and stored on your device) are essential for travel in areas where you may find no cell service. Keeping your maps up-to-date ensures accurate navigation and hassle-free travel. Here's why it's essential and how you can easily update your offline maps:

Why Update Your Maps?

Ever Evolving Roads

Roads and traffic patterns continuously change. Regular updates guarantee that your maps reflect the latest road networks, new constructions, and closures.

Improved Navigation Accuracy

Frequent updates mean enhanced accuracy in navigation. Outdated maps might lead to incorrect routes or errors during trip planning, potentially causing inconvenience.

Error Prevention

An expired map will trigger error messages when planning a trip. Updating your maps before this expiration ensures uninterrupted navigation.

Note: Stored maps expire every 6 months. You must update the downloaded map before or upon expiration for continued use.
