Avoiding routes that include ferries, tolls and low bridges

RV LIFE Trip Wizard helps you travel safely, and provides you with customizable route preferences.

To change your routing preferences:

On an open trip, select the Wrench Icon . This will open the Trip Tools menu.
On the Trip Tools menu, select “Trip Settings”.

On the Trip Settings window, select Routing & Driving. Make sure you have selected RV Routing. This will make sure you will be shown an RV safe route.

You can then toggle avoiding tolls, highways, ferries, etc according to your preference. Click “Save” to save your progress and your route will be customized according to your selected preferences.

Note: Changing your Route Preferences through Trip Settings will only change the settings for the selected trip. Your Default Settings will not change.
