Q - How do I access the RV LIFE Maintenance tool?

You will Sign In to the RV LIFE Maintenance program here or by going to maintenance.rvlife.com. It is best to use a laptop or desktop computer when accessing the very first time. You will use the same credentials for Maintenance that you successfully use for RV LIFE Trip Wizard. When in doubt, test your credentials by logging in to tripwizard.rvlife.com, taking careful note of the email address and password that you use.

Q - Why do I get an error message when adding maintenance?

More than likely you haven’t added an Equipment, a Vendor, or an Expense Type when trying to save an entry. All of those fields must be selected. A vendor can just be "Self", or "Self Service" if you are doing the work yourself. An Expense Type can be something as simple as "Personal" or "Business".

Q - It says I have overdue maintenance, but I can't find it?

1) You may have a piece of equipment setup, with no maintenance schedule attached. This is the most common scenario.
2) You may have a maintenance schedule setup for an item that has not reached its next maintenance cycle, however you may have never shown a record of maintenance prior.

For example, let's say you have a maintenance schedule setup for an oil change every 10,000 miles. When you got your RV, it had 13,000 miles on it, and the previous owner had changed the oil at 10,000 miles. So now you own it, and plan on doing an oil change at the 20,000 mile mark, or in 7,000 miles. In theory, the oil change is not past due, since there are still 7,000 miles to go. However, if you never entered that first oil change in the "Initial Activities" section of the oil change maintenance, then the maintenance program thinks you are running on 13,000 miles without an oil change.

Q - How do I delete a vehicle from my list or profile?

  1. First choose the vehicle you wish to delete.
  2. Then choose the Dashboard tab, and then Manage Vehicle.
  3. Click the Edit button associated with the box containing your vehicle data (VIN, etc.)
  4. You’ll see a delete/remove option once you get in there.

Q - I accidentally entered the wrong mileage for my RV, not it's showing incorrect mileage.

To fix an incorrect mileage entry, do the following:

  1. Go into the Maintenance tab, and click Mileage.
Add a new mileage entry (Log Mileage) with the correct mileage, then delete the erroneous one (if it exists).
  2. New mileage should be reflected AFTER you logout of MMRV and log back in.
