Managing Your Day Stops

Travel day stops have been relocated for easier access, allowing you to effortlessly view and customize details.

Adding a Travel Day Stop

For this example, let's suppose you have planned a trip starting from North Central Carrollton to Moraine Park Campground.

During this journey, you have two overnight stops: one at Arrowhead RV Park and the other at Raton KOA Journey.
Now, say you decide to make a short stop between these two stops at Love’s Travel Stop, Las Vegas, NM. This will be your Travel Day Stop.

To add the travel day stop for Love’s Travel Stop, follow these steps:

  • Click on the "Add Stop" pill between Arrowhead RV Park and Raton KOA Journey in the Trip Drawer.

  • Type "Love’s Travel Day Stop" into the resulting search bar and locate the particular stop. Then, click on the Add icon.

  • In the Add to Trip popup, set the number of nights to zero (0) to designate it as a travel day stop. The default value is one (1), but the stop will not be recognized as a travel day unless it is set to zero.

  • Since you clicked on the pill between the two stops, the "Add This Stop After" dropdown will automatically be set to Arrowhead RV Park.
  • Write any notes you might want to include for this stop.
  • Finalize by clicking the “Add Stop” button.

The Trip Drawer will then automatically adjust to include the new stop at Love’s Travel Day Stop.

Note: This guide assumes you are adding a travel day stop to an existing trip. If you are adding a travel day stop while planning your trip, click "Add Stop" at the bottom of the Trip Drawer and follow the same steps. Be sure to set the number of nights to zero (0) to designate it as a travel day stop.

Accessing Your Travel Day Stop

To access and manage your Travel Day Stop, follow these general steps. For this example, we have used Arrowhead RV Park:

  • In the Trip Drawer, find the stop immediately before your Travel Day Stop. In this example, it is Arrowhead RV Park.
  • Below the previous stop, you will see the distance, ETA, and the Travel Day Stop pill next to the "Add Stop" pill. The Travel Day Stop is represented by "1 Stop" on the pill (or "2 Stops" for two stops, etc.).

  • Clicking on the pill will open the Travel Day Details.

  • In the Travel Day Details screen, you will find the Travel Day Stop information between the Departure and Arrival stop details. 
  • You can also choose to “See Full Turn-by-Turn Details” of your route and the Travel Day Elevation.
  • Click on the stop name to open the Edit Stop Details tab, where you can edit the General Information, Fuel, and Expenses.
  • On the bottom of the tab, click on “Delete Stop” to delete the Travel Day Stop or click “Save” to apply any changes made.
